Are you trying to update your EIN in the Company settings? If so, our engineers have already been working to fix this issue. It’d help a lot if you share your personal experience about this with them. You can do that by contacting our support team. Here’s how:


  1. Visit this link:

  2. Choose your product: QuickBooks Desktop

  3. Choose Pro or Premier.

  4. Select any main topics and sub topics.

  5. Scroll down, and click the Get Phone Number button.


However, if it’s not the EIN you’re updating with, I’d recommend running the Verify Rebuild utility. This makes the program identity the root cause of this issue and fixes it eventually.
