check printing

While printing vendor checks my printer ran out of ink. Since they did not print correctly i selected the checks that did not print and then QB's directed me to reprint new checks. The check numbers that did not print correctly are not showing up in my check register. How can i show those in my register so for future reference i know those checks were voided/bad?

Thanks for joining us here in the Community. I'd be happy to provide assistance with having the check number to show up on your register. 

 

In QuickBooks once the you create a check it will be registered on your bank register regardless if its printed or not. You'll need to make sure that you pull up the right account when printing the checks.
