Greetings, @abbyshao.
Thank you for posting in the Community. I'd be happy to help share some insights about converting a lead to a customer.
May I know if you see a prompt or error message when converting the lead to a customer? If so, it can help me check if we have reported an issue related to your concern today.
In the meantime, let's make sure you're QuickBooks is updated to the latest release. Sometimes the old version of an update may cause unexpected behavior like this.
Here's how to run update within QuickBooks:
- Close your company.
- From the Help menu, select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Click the Options tab.
- Click Mark All then click Save.
- Click the Update Now tab.
- Mark the Reset Update check box.
- Click the Get Updates button.
- When Update Complete appears, close QuickBooks.
After that, reopen QuickBooks Desktop. If you get the message to install the update, select Yes. Once done, try to convert lead into a customer.
For more details, you can also check this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

Here's how:
- Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact
- Select QuickBooks for Windows.

That should take care of it.
