Buy nowI need to convert QB for Mac company file to QB Desktop. I've found the instructions to do that, but the instructions indicate the need to remove special characters (!#$@%^*) from the memo fields.
I have ~4000 transactions with special characters in the memo field. Any ideas re: how to do a bulk edit of these transactions?

I recognize the importance of being able to bulk edit the memo fields when getting your company file ready for import, @leeseinmt.
Currently, the option to batch edit memo fields in QuickBooks Desktop for MAC is unavailable. I suggest visiting Intuit Marketplace to check if there's a third-party application that has the feature.
Otherwise, you'll have to manually remove the special characters in each memo field. Here's how:

I don't think it is really necessary. Try it without editing and spot check some of the memos and see how they look.
