Converting quickbooks file from PC to MAC when I don't have access to PC w/ quickbooks

I recently relocated and placed my quickbooks pc file on a portable disk to use when I got to my new home. My problem is I no longer have the PC and have purchased quickbooks for my MAC. I can't open the file and it says I need to convert with a PC? Any help out there for my problem?

As another option, if you just purchased your QBD Mac license, ask Support to convert your company file.

Do you have Boot Camp or any other Windows emulator on your Mac?

You can download your PC software from your QB's Account.

https://camps.intuit.com

If for some reason you can't get your software (and you do have Boot Camp), you could download a Windows version of QB's try-to-by demo to do the conversion.

Oh... Also, do you have or plan to get an Accountant where ever you are now? Go ask them to convert it.
