What is the best way to download Chase credit card transactions from the past as bank feeds after creating subaccounts? This credit card has multiple users and I am trying do a retroactive download on an existing account. From my prior research, I understand that the Chase bank feed can only be connected to the subaccounts and not the master account. Do I have to disconnect and reconnect the feed? Thank you.
Thanks for posting here in the Community, @JN33. I want to make sure this is properly addressed for you.
You don't have to disconnect reconnect your bank feed. In your case, you download the transactions from your bank, then format them using a CSV file. Once the file is ready, you can import them to QuickBooks. Let me show you how:
Then you can now categorize the past transaction and exclude the transactions that will not be added to your bank. This is to avoid confusion for the current downloaded bank transactions.
Here's how:
Excluded transactions are moved to the Excluded tab, and won’t be added to QuickBooks or downloaded again.
Once everything is fixed, you can manually update the connected bank to refresh the balances and download the transactions seamlessly. For more details, see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for your response. Is this my only option for retrospective Chase credit card transactions for a pre-existing QuickBooks account? The bank feed for only one subaccount existed before I added the second subaccount. Transactions for the former subaccount are currently only being received through the bank feed and nothing for the latter subaccount. Also, how can I ensure that future transactions are properly fed into each subaccount? Thank you.
Thank you for coming back to us here in the Community, @JN33.
I'm happy to add some information to ensure you can get the transactions for the second subaccount of your credit card.
To do this, I recommend you connect your subaccount to online banking and disconnect the parent account. Before doing so, make sure to check this article for more information: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.
Also, refer to this article for the detailed steps in disconnecting an account connected to online banking: Disconnect or delete accounts from online banking.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns about subaccounts. Have a good day.
