Credit Card Terminal for QBE and Termianl Services

HI All,

I have a customer that uses Quickbook Enterprise Edition (QBE) off a terminal server provided by Right Networks.

The customer would like to use a credit card terminal, instead of always having to enter cards by hand, plus he gets a better rate is the card's chip is read.

Questions:

1) Will a local card read mount to the terminal server through the RDP (Terminal Services) connection?

2) Will QBE see the terminal when mounted this way?

3) Do you need to get the terminal from Quickbooks or from the card processor?

4) if purchased from Quickbooks, does the terminal come pre-configured for the card processor?

I need questions 3 and 4 still answered.

Q 1 &2: Right Networks said some of their customer use them, but would not give me any details.

QuickBooks provides merchant services for all QuickBooks accounting products. If you signed up for a QuickBooks Payments account, you can easily process payments with the QuickBooks Card reader.
