Credit cards short cut

The short cut on the icon bar for credit cards doesn't work.  No problem adding it, just when you click on it nothing happens.

Credit cards short cut

I just tried it and the same thing happens to me. I suspect it worked once and then Intuit broke it.

What it is that you want it to do?

Credit cards short cut

Hello there, @dixcon

I can see how important to use and work with the Credit cards shortcut when processing transactions within your company file.

Also, I would appreciate it if you can provide about things that you're going to do with as mentioned by BigRedConsulting. This way, we can share other ways or details to accomplish it. However, if you haven't tried updating QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release, you can do it. This ensures you always have the latest features and fixes.

  1. Open QBDT and run it with admin privileges.
  2. Go to the Help menu, and then choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Select the Options tab.
  4. Choose Mark All and then click Save.
  5. Go to the Update Now tab, and select the Reset Update checkbox.
  6. Click Get Updates when you're ready.

Then, run the verify rebuild. This fixes data-related issues on a company file. The steps below will guide you through the process.

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities.
  3. Click Verify Data then select OK to close all windows.
  4. Then, go back to the File menu.
  5. Select Rebuild Data under Utilities.
  6. QuickBooks will ask to make a backup before rebuilding your company file, select OK.
  7. Once the rebuild is done, click OK.
