Custom Invoice Template: Billing Address field

I have created a custom invoice template.  In the "Billing Address" field, it is wrapping the text of each line after 25 characters, even though I have plenty of additional space available.

When I use the default template, customer names or addresses that are 26+ characters display on a single line without issue.

How might I revise my custom template to allow for long customer names/addresses to appear on a single line without wrapping?

What I want:

Company With A Long Name LLC

12345 W. Long Street Name Suite B

Longer Than Usual City Name, NY 12345

What I'm getting:

Company With A Long Name
LLC
12345 W. Long Street
Name Suite B
Longer Than Usual City
Name, NY 12345

Thank you anyone that can assist.

Custom Invoice Template: Billing Address field

I think I figured this one out on my own.  My custom template was based upon a starter template that I had downloaded.  They had placed a "preferred width" setting into the cell containing <BillingAddress> that was taking precedence over the actual cell width.  Adjusting this preferred width to a larger value has resulted in me getting the layout I'm looking for, where long addresses display on a single line.

I guess you get what you pay for, and the free template I downloaded had this conflict, where the cell width was wide but the "preferred width" in the Table Properties was fixed to something much smaller.

Candice, thank you again for your time.

Custom Invoice Template: Billing Address field

Hey there, @userbilling4

Thanks for reaching out to the Community with your question. I hope you're having a great day so far.

I did see that you asked this question once before in the Community. My colleague provided some very helpful information to help fix this problem with the address on the invoice template in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Here's the link to the thread, so you don't get confused. After trying the steps, and if the issue persists, then I recommend reaching back out to us on that thread.

In addition, here's a guide that can help you out: Customized forms

Let me know how it goes. I want to make sure that you're able to get back on track as soon as possible. I value you as a customer. I'm only a post away if you need me. Wishing you and your business continued success!

Custom Invoice Template: Billing Address field

Thank you for the quick reply.

Yes, I asked this question before, and none of the suggestions worked.  My company just started, and our first invoice cycle was February 1.  When I didn't get a satisfactory result in late January when I was asking the question, I had to move on and just use the default template...which unfortunately doesn't line up with the windows on supposedly Quickbooks-ready envelopes that I bought, and doesn't allow me enough flexibility to make the necessary adjustments.

I had not revisited this again until today, when we're working on our April invoices.  I'm using a totally different computer, thinking it perhaps was a caching issue as that previous commenter suggested, but to no avail.  I am able to modify everything else exactly the way I need.  All my margins and spacing are exactly what I require to work with our window envelopes, except that the Billing Address field wraps around at 25 characters, which makes that field taller than the window for certain customers.

I understand it's the same issue, but with the passage of time I thought it made sense to open up a new thread...and to provide a bit more information based upon my new failed attempts today.

Especially when I am successful in manipulating everything else on this template, and have it exactly the way I want otherwise, I'm very confused as to why I can't get this specific issue figured out. The column where <BillingAddress> is placed should allow for at least 40 characters - which should be ample for all customers.

Thank you for your help.

Custom Invoice Template: Billing Address field

Candice, thank you.  I just replied but it didn't show up.  I'm trying a much shorter reply now just to see if it will post.
