I was wondering if there was a way in quickbooks desktop to find out where the credit came from that you see when you open the payment window. When you open the payment screen, there is a box in the bottom middle that shows available credit if there is any. Say for example that box shows $125.00. I know this customer has $125.00 available but how do I know exactly where it came from? Did it come from 2 credit memos? 1 credit memo? That's what I need to find out is where did that $125 come from.
