I have created three drop downs to designate my customers by Members, Non-Members and Donors. Twice I went through them all and designated them as one of the above and when I return to work the next day they all have reverted to the same single designation (Members). I have wasted a lot of time on this and can't seem to figure out why it is happening.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps which is to switch to a different browser. This is a good way to check if it's caused by the browser. Let's log in to QuickBooks Online using a private browser.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser: • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P • Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If it works fine with the private browser, switch back to your regular browser and clear your browser's cache.
1. Press Ctrl+H on your keyboard. You will be routed to the History page. 2. Click on Clear browsing data. 3. On the drop down, choose the beginning of time, and click on Clear Browsing data.
If it doesn't work with the private browser, use a different browser and log in to your account.
