Glad to see you here in the Community, @Teesa66.
I'm here to share some information about how invoices work in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
QuickBooks Online doesn't have a limit on customer entries and transactions. The program can support as many line items on a sales form. However, there are chances that you'll experience minor performance issues as the number of lines increases.
To avoid this error, I'd recommend splitting it into multiple transactions. This way, the QuickBooks can easily load/send your invoices and help keep the program running at peak performance when we're processing a large volume of transactions.
Also, there are various things you can do to ensure that you'll get the most out of your QuickBooks experience. Please check the pointers below:
- Ensure your web browser is up to date.
- Check to see if there are critical performance updates for your operating system.
- Run an internet speed test.

Please let me know if you have other questions. I'm always happy to help. Take care!
