The option to change a non-taxable to taxable customers by batch isn't available in QuickBooks Online. 

Once imported, we'll have to manually change them on your QuickBooks account. I'll show you how:

1. From the Sales tab, select Customers.
2. Click your customer's name.
3. Select the Edit button.
4. Go to the Tax info tab.
5. Enter their exemption details.
6. Click Save.
