PLEASE HELP..ANYONE!!!
This morning every time someone trys to open our Quickbooks Enterprise 2017. we get errors like H505 or H202. or it just says it cant reach the database.. when going to our Server where the Database is located, I have noticed everytime, someone trys to open the QB file, the Database server crashes..
I have done a repair, but still no go.. When I try to do a fresh reinstall, the install program keeps saying that it cant reach the QB server to verify me
Thank you for initiating some troubleshooting steps, Toddvg.
The errors you received indicates something is blocking your users to access your server, and we have an article to guide you to fix them. Check out the detailed steps to fix H202 and H505 errors.
Please note that version 2017 was discontinued in May this year, which means we have stopped supporting updates for it. Any changes to your operating system or other programs may affect the performance and functionality of QuickBooks. However, you can still upgrade to later versions if you wish to.
You can always go back to this thread if you need more help with the issue.
We are not allowed to reinstall any outdated QB Desktop Enterprise any longer. You may have 2 options:
1. Upgrade to QBD Enterprise 2021
2. Cross-grade to QBD Pro/Premier 2020 or 2021. You may purchase the new license of QBD 2020 with a lower price than QBD 2021 thru partners until next week.
Is your QuickBooks showing Error Message H505, H202 or QBDBmgrn not running? I believe the above mention solutions is sufficient to rid of Database server manager error swiftly from your system. However, we suggest you to follow the below given article link.
