Decimal places and rounding on bank feeds

I'm trying to upload bank transactions to QuickBooks, I select the option "add more details" but when I'm going to enter the information, it doesn't show the correct amount.

I don't know if it's a problem of managing preferences.

See below picture that shows my problem.

If you have any idea how can I solve it I'd appreciate it.

Re: Decimal places and rounding on bank feeds

Hi, Claudia12.

I'm here to help you go over to your bank transactions and have those details added.

I appreciate the screenshot you've provided. The decimals in the preferences will not affect the transactions in your bank feeds.

You may want to make sure that you've not accidentally edited the amount since you can change the amount when adding more details in the bank feeds.

If you haven't change the amount, verifying and rebuilding your data is a good start when it comes to fixing data-related issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

To Verify Data:

  1. Choose Window at the top, then Close All.
  2. Choose File.
  3. Click on Utilities.
  4. Click Verify Data.

To Rebuild Data:

  1. Choose File.
  2. Click on Utilities.
  3. Rebuild Data.
  4. You will receive a warning message to backup your company file, press OK.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".

For additional help, you can also reach out to our QuickBooks Desktop Support.

  1. Within your QuickBooks Desktop, click Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Click Contact us.
  3. To route you to the correct support expert, we need to know what type of question you have. Give a brief description of your issue and click Continue.
  4. We’ll provide you a few options. You choose which one is best for you.

Let me know if you ran into a different situation by leaving a reply below so I can look further into this. I want to make sure you can upload your transactions successfully. Have a good one.
