Desktop to Online Conversion

Considering moving to QuickBooks Online from Desktop, is there an opportune time for the transition? Is there an assistance service available to help in the transition or is it straight-forward? Any “mine-fields” to be aware of?

Desktop to Online Conversion

Hi there, ColumbiaCrossroads.

Thanks for posting today in the QuickBooks Community, I'm happy to shed some light on the transition process from Desktop to Online. The link below highlights the process, What you should do before you start, and what comes next once you do convert.

This article highlights what you can expect when you switch, including how to convert your books and much more.

As far as an opportune time to transition, now is as good as ever! Below I'm including a link to our sales team, if you contact them, they can help get you set up with the right QBO product for you and your business. To reach them, click here

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to post in the Community whenever you need. Thank you and have a nice afternoon.

You should migrate from any supporting version (i.e QBD 2018-2020). If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 3 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.
