Direct connect bank feed issue

I tried setting up Direct Connect with the Bank Feed and followed the instructions of another article. It said got to Bank Feeds>Banking Center>Transaction List> Synchronize. However when I clicked on Transaction List there was no option "Synchronize". Where did I go wrong?

It’s great to have you here, @hanky.

I can share some details to make sure you’re able to connect successfully your bank with QuickBooks.

For starters, may I ask what specific bank account are you trying to connect with QuickBooks Desktop? One possible reason there’s no Synchronize button on your screen is because your bank account does not support Direct Connect. I’d suggest reaching out to your bank’s Customer Care team and verify with them the connection type they are using.

For additional insights, you may check out this article: Download Bank Feed transactions.

Feel free to click the Reply button if you have other questions about connecting your bank account with QuickBooks Desktop. I’m always here to help.

Thanks for getting back to us, Hanky.

As what my colleague @juVielL stated, it's possible that Chase bank doesn't support Direct Connect for QuickBooks. This is one of the reasons why there is no Synchronize button. You'll have to reach out to them and verify if they can so you can use this feature.

You can always visit us if you have other questions. We'd be happy to work with you again.
