Display turns all Black and White

While in the middle of doing a task in QuickBooks the display will loose all color. This turns everything either black or white (see attachment). This causes you not to be able to read any buttons or amounts. It happens most commonly when I'm using the pay bill feature, but has been happening more and more while doing other tasks as well. The only solutions I have found is to restart my entire computer to bring the color back. Sometimes it will happen multiple times a day. I've also had it happen while I was using a different computer as well. Any idea to prevent this from happening?
