I'm here to ensure you're able to change the receive date on your customer payment in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). This way, you can keep your sales and financial data accurate.
You'll have to open the customer payment transaction to change the receive date information. Let's go to your customer's profile to view the said transaction and edit the details from there. Here's how:
- Go to the Customers menu.
- Select Customer Center.
- Double-click the name of your customer under the Customers & Jobs tab.
- Find the Payment transaction, then double-click it to open its details.
- In the Date field, change the date payment date.
- Click Save & Close, then Yes to confirm.
