Drop Shipping

We have Quickbooks Premier Desktop 2020. When we complete a Sales Order and do a P.O. from the Sales Order, Quickbooks automatically completes the "Drop Ship" drop-down to have the item drop shipped to the customer and we have to change it manually. How can we stop it from automatically selecting drop ship and allow us to make that decision?

Hi Art1957,

 

If you're referring SHIP TO as the Drop Ship field, we can manually remove it from your customer's information.

 

If you've ticked the Default shipping address box on your customer's profile, the SHIP TO field will be automatically filled in.

 

We can remove it by deselecting their default shipping address. Let me guide you with these steps:

 

  1. From the Customers menu, select Customer Center.
  2. Find and double-click the customer's name.
  3. Go to the Address Info tab.
  4. Deselect the Default shipping address box under the SHIP TO section.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Click No.
