Duplicate owner draws

When I enter an owner draw it is somehow duplicating itself multiple times on different dates.  Anyone know why this happening and how to stop it?

I'm glad you've reached out to the QuickBooks Community. Let me help isolate the problem when entering an owner's draw in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

I've checked our investigation list to verify if there's an on-going issue about the owner's draw transaction in QBO, but we have no reports of any. I also replicated this on my QuickBooks sample file, and it just works fine. 

 

To check if it's browser related, let's perform the basic troubleshooting steps by opening your browser in incognito/private mode. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data files to load a webpage. 

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser: 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl+Shift+N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl+Shift+P 
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl+Shift+P 
  • Safari: press Command+Shift+N

If it works fine with a private browser, I suggest clearing your browser's cache to start fresh. 

 

If the same thing happens, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have additional tools to pull up your account and investigate this further.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (question mark icon) at the top right.
  3. Select Contact us to connect with a live support agent.
