Dymo LabelWriter - prints in portrait, even when landscape is selected

I have Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2019. I just installed a Dymo LabelWriter 450. Whenever I print labels they always come out in portrait mode. I go into the printer options section in Quickbooks and switch to landscape, but nothing changes.


Printer Setup -> Labels -> Options, and then toggle Orientation from Landscape to Portrait, and there is no change to the printed labels. There is also no change to the "Preview".


I'd love to be able to print labels directly from Quickbooks. Thanks,

I know this would be uneasy to fix printing issues, especially when the printer isn't working as modified in your print settings.


In cases like this, there may be settings that need to be changed in the printer. I would recommend reaching out to Dymo's Support to check if you need to change something in their hardware and drivers.


You can search for their support in the Google search engine. When you find one post shared by a user to their supporting community, please follow their instruction to seek help.


This would be the fastest way to get this settled and keep you running.


Also, you can visit our Intuit Marketplace and get in touch with our Sales Support team. They can also share lists of supported printers that can integrate with QuickBooks if the issue can't be modified by Dymo's support.
