efiled 1099s

Hi - I efiled my 1099s through intuit but I missed one contractor.  Does anyone know if/how I can file that one?

Re: efiled 1099s

Hi @kblais,

You can easily submit another 1099 by going back to the 1099 E-File Service of QuickBooks Online. Just go through the same process as you did in your first filing.

I've got here an article that you can read on during your free time to learn more about 1099 and our e-filing service: 1099 E-File Service — QuickBooks Online setup, troubleshooting, & FAQs.

Know that we're just a post away if you need any help along the way.

I also missed a vendor after efiling but when I go back to start the process over and go to prepare 1099's, it only shows a "continue your 1099s" and not the let's get started option. Is there a certain amount of time I have to wait for it to reset maybe?  Thank you.

Re: efiled 1099s

Greetings, @TLegacyLLC.

Thanks for joining this conversation. Allow me to chime in for a moment and provide some additional information about filing another set of 1099s in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You're already on the right track on filing another set of 1099-Misc form! You can go ahead and click the Continue your 1099s. Just make sure to add or select the specific vendor that you've missed out on step 3 - Contractors section.

You can also check out the article provided by my colleague @JianCarlo_S above for further assistance.

That should do it! Please let me know how it goes or if you have any follow-up questions in the comment section. I'm always here to help you out. Cheers!
