Thanks so much for getting in touch. I can’t see the “About” icon on my

iphone via the menu. Does it need to be an iPad for added functionality reasons? Unless im missing something?

Hi there, onofriomontalto.

I'll provide clarifications and share information about why you're unable to send and receive emails from QuickBooks. Then, steps to fix this.

Each of our services has its own email address. These service-related email addresses need to be set as a "safe sender" or whitelisted on your email account to make sure you receive important communications from different Intuit services.

Validation code emails come from [email address removed] during sign-in and normally take 1 to 2 minutes before you receive it. That being said, I suggest making sure to check your spam and junk folders. Then, search for the email address [email address removed] in all of your folders including spam and junk. Once you'll see one of the emails from Intuit, right-click the email, then choose This is not spam or Not Junk.

There are also times that some email domains may block @intuit.com communications on their servers. To isolate this, follow the steps below.

  1. Send an email to [email address removed]. This should confirm the email domain to recognize the @intuit domain as a trusted site. Then try your request again.
  2. Please wait at least 5 minutes after requesting a new verification code to see if the email appears in your inbox.
  3. If the email doesn't appear after 10 minutes, you'll need to contact your email provider to evaluate security settings for your email profile.

For additional information, you can click this article: Receive important email messages from Intuit.

On the other hand, you'll need to click Help & Feedback after clicking the Menu icon to refresh the app. See the detailed steps below.

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and click Help & Feedback(Question mark icon).
  2. Click Refresh Data. Note: A message appears “Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.”
  3. Hit Refresh to confirm.

I'll also want to inform you that my colleague have updated about the steps on how to refresh the QBO app for iOS.

Please check this article to see steps on how to fix the issue if your customers not receiving your sales forms, statements, or reports via email: 3 solutions for when customers aren't receiving your emails.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.

Hello there, @MPuni1457.

Making sure you finish your QuickBooks Online (QBO) tasks is our priority. To help you with this, let's first check how you record the funds.

To do so, you can run the Deposit Detail report and filter the info. The report will show you those payments deposited on a specific account as well as the bank deposits you've entered. Let me guide you how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Sales and customers section and click Deposit Detail
  3. Select the Customize button.
  4. Set the date of the transaction on the Report period field.
  5. Choose Account on the Group by drop-down. This will let you know what account the missing deposited funds are allocated to.
  6. From the Filter section, check the box beside Account and choose (Select All).
  7. You can also add more customization.
  8. Once done, click Run report.

From there, look for the funds. If you can't still see the transactions, you can also search for them on the Audit Log. This will let you know any activities that happen on your company file as well as the user who made recent changes. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
  2. When opened, select the Filter dropdown.
  3. Choose All Users under the User field and set the correct date.
  4. From the Events section, check the box for Transactions and choose All transactions or Deleted/Voided transactions.
  5. Once done, click Apply

You can also visit our QBO Help articles page to seek sources to guide you in performing any bookkeeping or accounting tasks. Simply type a keyword of your concern on the search field or open any of the categories displayed.

Don't hesitate to come again here if you need further assistance looking for your deposited funds. I'm always here to lend you a hand. Keep safe.
