employee notes

employee notes. when quickbooks came in to organize raises and promotion history, they erased important notes from my employee. How do I get them back?

This is easy, Ace-123.

 

You can check for backup to recover the raises and promotion history. 

 

To restore backup company file:

  1. Go to the File menu, and select Open or Restore Company.
  2. Choose Restore a backup copy, select Next.
  3. Choose Local Backup, then select Next.
  4. Choose of the backup file from the Look In drop-down.
  5. Select the backup file from the folder, the name should appear as [Company Name].qbb.
  6. Select Open, then Next.
  7. From the Save in drop-down, choose the location.
  8. In the File name field, type a new file name. Note The Save as type field will automatically populate QuickBooks Files (*.QBW).
  9. Select Save.

Now, you can enter them again in your main file.
