Enterprise Freezes When Printing to PDF Or Emailing

We are running Enterprise 15.0 on Windows 10.  Last week my company file will no longer Email or Print to PDF.  It simply freezes.   In the Windows Task Manager it does not even show "Not Responding" - it just hangs up.  Below are some points and what I have tried to far:

1.  We have multiple company files on our server - and I can email/print fine on all other company files

2.  I can print to a printer - just not to PDF

3.  NO other users are having this issue with this company file - just mine.

4.  As noted above - it is only with one particular company file - I have tested 3 other company files and they all work file.

 

I have tried the repair function on my control panel, I have tried downloading the Quickbooks Tool Hub and using all of the repair tools.  I have tried changing the default email program from Outlook to Gmail and then none at all.  But it still hangs when trying to email or print to PDF.

Since you've tried the QuickBooks Tool Hub and all of the troubleshooting options, then I recommend reaching out to our Desktop Support for further assistance. Rest assured, they have the tools that will allow a screen share and perform additional troubleshooting. Here's how to get in touch:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Type in your question or concern, then press Continue.
  5. Choose how you want to be contacted.
