Error code TD500 'problem with your update'

How can we fix error code TD500 'There was a problem with your update'?  QBs no longer takes us to the CardConnect online payment portal.  The error message continues 'It looks like your update was not completed.  Follow these steps to fix the issue before June 15, 2019'.

The problem just started yesterday so there was no opportunity to fix the issue prior to the deadline.  We are not running multiple QB's versions, are setup for automatic updates and have tried to manually update.

That did not resolve the problem so we did a clean install but are still getting the error message.  We have verified data integrity and rebuilt data - 1 issue found (error 179).  Any assistance to 'get back to business' would be appreciated!

Hello there, exec-director.

I appreciate the detailed information and for sharing the steps you've taken so far. I'm here to make sure we're able to get rid of all the errors you're getting.

The Error 179 occurs when there are damages in the encryption of sensitive fields such as credit card numbers, social security/Social Security and bank accounts. You either need to delete, edit and/or update the information to resolve the issue.

You can refer to this article for the solutions you can try: Error: QBwin.log: LVL_SEVERE_ERROR--GetDecryptedCreditCardNumber The decryption has failed

On the other note, if you're done following the resolutions stated from the article about fixing error TD500 "There was a problem with your update"  but still having the same error,  I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the extra tools that can help you retrieve your company profile and open your company file.
