Join nowWorking with QB on my phone, I am able to send customers invoices but get an error message, see attached, when attempting to send customers payment receipts. Please advise.

It's great to see you back in the Community. I want to make sure that you're able to give your customer their invoice payment receipt. Allow me to give you some further insight into why you're receiving this error.
The reason for this error is because our QBO mobile app doesn't allow sending a customer an invoice payment receipt at this time. However, I'll send feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in one of the upcoming releases. They take the time to review every request and try to add them to the next available update. You can check out our QuickBooks Blog to keep up with the new features in your account.
In the meantime, you can use a web browser on a computer to send your customer their invoice payment receipt. Here's an article that can help you out: Invoices.

I use QB desktop and am still experiencing this problem when trying to send receipts to customers. Do you have an eta on when this problem might be fixed?

At the moment, we don't have the exact date as to when will this feature be added in QuickBooks. Please note that all our requests are subject for further study to make sure they would work.
Rest assure that Quickbooks will post this announcement in the QuickBooks blog site. Hence, I encourage you to visit the page regularly.
In the meantime, you can use the web browser on a computer as suggested workaround by my peer above.
