Hi! I have a single, large, American Express credit card purchase that won't transfer from Intuit Point of Sale to Quickbooks desktop. Every other transaction from that day transferred just fine. This one transaction has an error. Point of Sale doesn't give any details on the error...it just "failed to send."
I found this: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/point-of-sale-hardware/point-of-sale-transactions-...
And I tried to follow the steps for "Only a few transactions are missing" but the option to "Resend this document during the next financial exchange" is not available. It's not grayed out...it's literally not there at all. I have not restored a backup, manually deleted anything, or otherwise done anything in Quickbooks or Point of Sale that would cause this problem.
Should I tell Point of Sale to mark the transaction as "sent" and then create my own transaction in Quickbooks? I'm not sure what else to do. I don't want to create duplicates of every other transaction from that day (which would be a LOT). I just want this one transaction and the associated sales tax to be properly recorded in Quickbooks. Help!
