Everytime I edit to enable account numbers, It tells me that my work cant be saved because someone did the work before me. How do I fix this?

Hello there, Paige.

This error occurs because another user saved changes to the account just before you did. To prevent account conflicts, have only one person edit the Chart of Accounts at a time. 

To determine who made the changes and when, refer to the audit log. Follow these steps:
 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit log.
  3. Use the Filter option to narrow results by User, Date, or Events.
  4. Apply to view the filtered audit records.
     

If the audit log shows no changes, you can proceed to re-enable the account numbers. Before making updates, please refresh the page to ensure you’re working with the latest information.
