Exporting all data to excel

Help - my accountant (the lovely person that she is) does not have Quickbooks.  She wants me to export my data into an excel spreadsheet for her to work her magic with.  I have no clue how to do that -- or if there is a better way other than her getting Quickbooks which is is currently against.

My other option is to get the online version of Quickbooks with two licenses and give her one to use (but it seems like a tremendous waste of my tiny non-profits' money).

Thanks in advance for any thoughts

Exporting all data to excel

Hello there, @treasurer_rcnrhs!

You can definitely export your data as an excel file. I'll be happy to share a few insights and help you from there.

First off, here is the list of data that you can export to MS Excel:

  • Customers Transaction
  • Vendors Transaction
  • Payroll Transaction
  • Item List
  • Reports

Once your on these pages, simply look for the Excel button and open it in a new worksheet so you can export them to MS Excel.

Thus said, I've included an article you can read to learn more about the steps of exporting them to Excel: Import or Export MS Excel Files.

As always, you can visit our Help Articles page for QuickBooks Desktop if in case you need to learn some tips and related articles in the future.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comment section down below. I'll be always around ready to help.
