finding 1099

i cannot find my client tab or the vendor tab in my account in order to find my 1099. i got the notice that my 1099 is ready but when i click view from my email it doesn't show anything when it connected to quickbooks. does that mean that the form expired? should i request again?

Hello there, kaon. Hope you're good today.

 

Yes, it looks like the form has been expired. What we can do right now is ask your employer to send the form again.That way, 1099 will automatically flow to the linked QBSE account when e-filing it. Once you receive it, follow these steps:

 

  1. Select the link in the email to sign in
  2. Go to the Clients menu.
  3. Select the Forms tab.

 

Your employer can send the form to you by email or paper copy.  I'll add this article for more information: 1099s in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

Know that I'm only a few clicks away if you have any other issues or concerns. Take care always and stay safe.
