Do you receive any error or prompt messages when switching on multicurrency? I've got a fix here that can help you continue to run your business.

 

QuickBooks Online collects cache files to make your browsing experience process faster. These files can sometimes become outdated/corrupted that impacts productivity.

 

An incognito or private window will not save any history and a good way to identify browser problems. Try to redo the process while using it. You can use these keyboard shortcuts below:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N  
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

If it works, go back to your main browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative. In addition, it would be best to utilize the Health Checkup Tool. It is used to check multiple aspects of the browser to make sure the application runs seamlessly.

 

Please keep in mind that once you activate this feature, it can't be turned off. New fields will appear on your Chart of Accounts, Bank, and Credit card registers.

There is no implication on your existing data. Keep in mind, once you enabled it, you won't be unable to disable it nor downgrade plan to QBO Simple Start. As another option, explore these apps to deal with multi currency transactions.
