Have LOC account show up in Account Balances.

I have some information about customizing account balances on the Top Icon Bar. The ability to edit the account balances drop-down is unavailable. QuickBooks setting for display on this view is working as designed.

However, you can change your view settings to see the line of credit account on your Home Page. Here's how:

1. Go to the View menu at the top.
2. Choose Left Icon Bar.
3. Select View Balances and then tap Customize view balances.
4. In the Customize Account Balances window, pick Line of Credit from the Available Accounts drop-down.
5. Select Add. You can also Remove, Move Up, and Move Down the accounts if you want to.
6. Click OK. See the images below.

With the above steps, you're able to view your account balances on your home screen.

I realize your instructions work.  What I really want to do is add the Line of Credit to the Account Balances listed to the right on the home screen.  Here is the screen that I am talking about.  When you look to the right, the account balances are listed.  When I follow the instructions that you provided the Line of Credit account will not show up here.  Is there anyway that I can add it to show here?

Your idea of showing the Line of Credit account on the QuickBooks homepage is a great one. I'll make sure to keep up with your request and share this with our developers for consideration in future product updates. 

I'd recommend doing the same by submitting your suggestion by going to the Help menu in QuickBooks Desktop, then selecting Send Feedback Online.
