There are no such options in the reports tab. Would we need to customize?

Hello, We constantly have to provide P

Thanks for getting back to us, @SanzBoys.

It's great to hear from you again. I can provide some clarification about the missing reports.

Based on the option that you've mentioned your account has Statement of Activity and Statement of Financial Position reports, which are non-profit reports that correspond to Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports, respectively.

It seems like your company file is set up as a Nonprofit organization(Form990), that's why these reports are named differently. However, the information and customization options will largely be the same.

For additional customization of your QBO reports, here are the helpful articles you can check out:

I'd also like to share this article in case you want to learn more about fund accounting for non-profits: Fund Accounting for non-profits.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comment sections down below. I'm always around happy to help.

Hello, We constantly have to provide P

I'm here to ensure you'll be able to access and provide the Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online, SanzBoys.

When a browser stored a lot of caches, it could cause problems like bringing up the data to your account or latency issues. As an initial step, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

If you're still getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps. You can start by opening a private window. Using a safe browser and accessing the program from there can usually fix the issue.

Check out these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)

Once signed in, go back and see if you're able to see the options for the Profit and Loss report. If the private browser works, you can clear the cache depending on which browser you're using through this helpful article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

However, if you've added as a user in QuickBooks Online, the access and options may vary from one user at a company to another. The system determines what information it displays by each user’s access rights.

You can reach out to the owner of the account or the Master Admin and ask to review your access. Here’s how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Manage Users.
  2. Highlight the user's name, click Edit.
  3. Under Edit user settings, go to User type.
  4. Make sure to select the correct option to view and access the Profit and Loss report.
  5. Hit Save.

If you're still unable to see the options in the report tab, I'd suggest deleting and adding yourself again.

Once you've successfully accessed the report, I recommend customizing the report to get the specific details you need. You can also memorize it to save its current customization settings. It serves as your record and helps you quickly access it for future use.

Please get back to me if you continue to get the same results or if you have any other questions about QuickBooks. I want to make sure you're able to provide the report you need. I'll be here to keep helping.

Hello, We constantly have to provide P

Hello,

Thank you so much for trying to help.

We cleared the cache, updated user to be the Master Admin, but still do not have P&L and Profit and Loss reports in Qbks.
The only options which may be similar that are displayed are
1.Statement of Financial positon &
2. statmenet of activity
Are any of these meant to replace the reports i am looking for?

Hello, We constantly have to provide P

Thanks a lot.

Both links provided for report options are inactive. Would you be able to provide a working link?

Hello, We constantly have to provide P

Thank you for your help! We changed the company type from non-profit/990 to 'other'. This should solve the issue and give us the report options we're looking for!
