HELP.. BANKING ERROR (HTTP STATUS 400 BAD REQUEST)

Let's get rid of the error, brcommercials.

 

The error HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request prompts when the connection with our server was interrupted or corrupted. Let's make sure the error is fixed so you're able to use the Banking page without any issues.

 

We can perform a few troubleshooting steps to get rid of the error. To verify that, log in to QuickBooks Self-Employed using a private browser. To use a one, here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If this works, you can clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I suggest switching to a different browser such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox.

 

If' you're using an app, you can uninstall and reinstall the app. You can download it again from your Google Play or App Store.

Can you tell us more about the bank that you're trying to connect to? That'll help us check to see if there's an ongoing issue with it.

 

Since you're still having an error after trying all the steps provided by Catherine_B, then I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support for QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). 

 

Their tools can further check why you're having this banking error and help you resolve it. You can reach them through chat or by getting a callback:

  1. From your QBSE homepage, click the Assistant from the top bar.
  2. Type Talk to a human on the chatbox.
  3. Then select your preferred support method: Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent or Get a callback
