Hello there, jennypeter. Good question!
Yes, you can still log in and view your data after canceling your QBO subscription. QuickBooks stores your data for one year from the date of cancellation. Please take note that you can only view the data, so it would be best to export or print them before cancelling your account.
Once you resubscribe within a year, you can still get and see the same information in your book. Otherwise, the data will no longer be available, but you can still use the same credentials.
You can use these articles when exporting data in QuickBooks and print reports:

How do we view our data? I cancelled my subscription 4 months ago and it wont allow me to log in and view my data. Instead it automatically re-directs to the subscription plans page to re-subscribe. I had quickbooks self-employed.
Hi Gia777!
Allow me to assist you in viewing your data.
It's true that you still can recover your data for one year after cancellation before it gets deleted permanently. However, unlike QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Self-Employed requires you to resubscribe to access them again.
I added this article if you need help in reviewing and downloading transactions: Export transactions and get reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I'm here to help you if you have additional questions. Have a great day!
So you hold our data hostage? Is that what you are saying? Why should we have to pay you MORE simply to access data WE ALREADY PAID FOR!?
This is such a bad faith business practice.
You can convert your data to QB Desktop file before cancelling your account. Then you can use the trial version of QB Desktop to access your historical data for good.
