It's my pleasure to help reconnect your bank account to QuickBooks Self-Employed, jamieparkerfloor. 

 

Before diving in, may I know the specific bank you're trying to connect in QuickBooks? Or did you encounter an error message? So I'll be able to check in the system if there is an ongoing system enhancement in our end.  

 

In the meantime, let's try reconnecting your account using a private browser to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. To open access QuickBooks using a private browser, you may use either of these shortcut keys: 

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome) 

 

If you're able to connect your bank account using a private browser, you may need to clear the cache of the regular browser you're using. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser.  Alternatively, you can use other compatible browsers. It could be that the one you're currently working on has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.  

 

If the same thing happens. I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.

Hey, there are multiple accounts. I'm using the android app, when I click on reconnect my account, I have to fill in the details, I get a phone call with a code, enter the code. Then it buffers for a long time and then says it failed. 

I'm confused.  Please help

Thank you for reaching back to the Community. Since you're using a mobile app, let's isolate and do a few troubleshooting steps to get this working on your mobile. Here are the things that we can do: 

 

  • Restart your phone and launch again the app 
  • Update your phone's operating system
  • Uninstall/Reinstall the app

 

I suggest ensuring you download the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app. You can install the app using the links below for android device: 

 

 

These troubleshooting steps will help us refresh the compatibility of the application to your mobile phone.
