How can I make the type in QB darker? I can barely read it

Currently, the option to enable dark mode in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable, Mark. I understand how helpful dark mode can be, especially for reducing eye strain.

QuickBooks Online previously offered Dark Mode and Themes through QuickBooks Labs as part of its beta program. However, QuickBooks Labs has been discontinued, and these features are no longer accessible.

As a workaround, you can adjust your computer’s display settings to improve readability:

For Windows: Open Settings, click System, then select Display to adjust brightness. To enable dark mode, click Settings, hit Personalization, then select Colors, and choose Dark under Choose your color. This applies a system-wide dark theme.

For Mac: Click the Apple menu, select System Settings or System Preferences (depending on your macOS version), then choose Displays to adjust brightness. To enable dark mode, go to Appearance and select Dark. This changes the system theme to dark mode, enhancing readability across apps.

I encourage you to submit Feedback for feature suggestions for this option to our Product Development Team; they can consider incorporating it in future product updates.

Here’s how you can submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Feedback.
  2. Enter your thoughts in the description box.
  3. Once done, click Next.
