What do you want to change? The password is to protect from changes to closed periods, especially ones that have probably had a tax return processed on it.
That being said, you can override the password. Go to gear>account settings>change the password in that window. You can just backspace and retype or remove it temporarily.
But I would NOT change an invoice from a closed period. I would make an adjustment to it in the current fiscal year.
