Currently, there is no option to completely turn off QuickBooks ads. These ads are designed to create awareness of features. However, you can close individual ads by clicking the X or No thanks button.
Alternatively, you can use a pop-up blocker to manage ads and improve your experience. Here’s how to block pop-ups for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox:
- Click the lock icon located to the left of the address bar.
- In Google Chrome, choose Site settings. For Mozilla Firefox, select Permissions for this site.
- Locate the Pop-ups and redirects setting.
- Verify that the setting is set to Block.
Here’s how to block pop-ups for the Safari Browser:
- Click Safari in the top menu, then select Settings (or Preferences).
- Go to the Websites tab and select Pop-up Windows from the sidebar.
- Set the pop-up setting to Block or Block and Notify.
