How can Quickbooks help me determine and pay quarterly taxes for 1099 Contractor?

I can help share insights about 1099 in QBO, keith-henson_pro.

Anyone who was paid $600 or more in non-employment income should receive 1099. Also, there are many exceptions to the $600 rule, meaning you may receive 1099 even if you were paid less than $600 in non-employment income during the tax year. Check this article for more details: Set up contractors and track them for 1099s in QuickBooks.

Also, I'm adding these resources to give for a deeper understanding on 1099s in QBO:

Fill me in if you more help about 1099s. I'll be glad to help.

If you have to withhold taxes from a 1099 recipient, there's a specific rate you're supposed to use: 24%

This should be done as you go along, so there is no need to determine the amount at the end of a period (just add up what you withheld, likely in a liability account created for the purpose.)
