How do I add a note to customer card?

I want to add a note to customer card so I googled how to do this and the results are below.

I have noticed that the QuickBooks Desktop versions are losing features...

The Notes tab for customers in QuickBooks Desktop is located after selecting Edit for a customer:
  1. Go to Customers & leads
  2. Select Customers
  3. Select the customer from the list
  4. Select Edit
  5. Select the Notes tab
  6. Add the information in the field
  7. Select Save

How do I add a note to customer card?

To add a customer note, you can utilize the Notes tab or use the Define Fields feature for the specific customer in your QuickBooks Desktop, @PASC. I will provide steps and guidance on how to achieve your goals.

 

First, please note that the steps you found were intended for QuickBooks Online only. For QBDT, you can include a note by using the Notes tab in the Customer Center. Here's how to locate it:

 

  1. From the Customers tab, hit Customer Center
  2. Click the customer you want to add a note and go to the Notes tab. 
  3. Choose the Manage Notes dropdown and select Add New
  4. If done, tick OK.

If you want to include notes when processing customer transactions, you can also utilize the Define Fields feature and add it to your template. Follow the steps below for guidance:

 

  1. Select Customer Center in the Customers tab
  2. Double click the customer that you want to add a note. 
  3. Go to the Additional Info tab and choose Define fields
  4. Add Notes in the field and select Customer, then tap OK to confirm. 
  5. After that, go to Lists and pick Templates
  6. You can use an existing template or create a new one and choose Additional Customization
  7. From the Header tab, put a check mark for the Notes
  8. Once done, hit OK.
