Hello there, Ivon.

For now, you can only add the Tax summary in the Footer section.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Custom Form Styles.
  3. Look for estimate template, then click Edit.
  4. Go to the Content tab, then click the Pencil icon in the third section of the template.
  5. Put a check mark in the Tax Summary box.
  6. Click Done.

Please the screenshot below for your guidance.

I also suggest sending feedback directly to our product development team. This way, we'll know what our customers prefer. We always appreciate customers who take the time to give us their feedback. Just click the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.

If you have other concerns, you can always post in the Community.

Kristine Mae replied assuming QuickBooks Online I think, but your message is tagged "QuickBooks desktop".

...which are you using?

And must all those fields appear in the Footer (not possible), or could they be listed as the last Item lines in the Items area?

Hello,

Am using Quickbooks desktop and am from Zambia, Africa.

I have attached an example of what I need. Am hoping that the answer I get will be helpful also for the invoices template. I cannot add the service charge and tourism levy to the unit cost because I have to account for them differently in that tourism levy is not vatable whilst the service charge is vatable.

Hi, @Ivon.

Thanks for giving us the details of how you want your estimate template to look like.

At this time, we only have limited options in customizing the footer for an Estimate Template. We can only add the subtotal, the markup total, and the total. You can check out this related article in using and customizing form template in QuickBooks Desktop: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1767517-use-and-customize-form-templates.

It would be a great add-on to our feature if we can add more fields to the template. I'd recommend sending a product suggestion to our Product Developers so they can consider this in the future update. You can send your feedback by going to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online. Then, click Product Suggestion.

I'm only a few clicks away if you should have any questions about your estimate template. Take care.
