How do i add the review and approve button when I send an estimate

I'll share some information about adding a review and approved option in the estimates. While this option is unavailable in QuickBooks, you'll want to check for a third-party application to do so.

Thank you for your response.

 

strange, I've sent an email and the review and approve button was included.

 

I made some changes and now when I send a new estimate it does not appear

Thanks for getting back here, @Senobak. I've come to provide information about the review and approve button on the estimate.

 

The Review and approve button is one of the new features for estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To know if you're using the new version of the estimate, please refer to these steps:

  1. In your QBO account, click the +New button.
  2. Then, select Estimates.
  3. At the top left of the form, check if there's a “New” word beside the form title. If yes, then you’re currently using the new version.

You can also run Estimates by Customer report to track estimates you've created for each of your customers. To do so, simply go to the Reports menu and type Estimates by Customer in the search field.

@DivinaMercy_N , please read again coz this is my question, too

"I made some changes and now when I send a new estimate it does not appear "

rephrased: when I edited the estimate and resent it to my customer, the review and approve button did not appear. Your answer should explain whether or not the button will still appear on edited or resent estimates

Hello there,

 

I’m here to share some information about the review and approve button of an Estimate.

 

In QBO, your customers can view and approve the estimates sent to them. However, some features aren’t available yet. I've got an option you may consider to get an online customer approval system set up for your Estimates.


There are different apps developed that integrate with QuickBooks. To find one, I invite you to visit the App Center. You can search for a keyword like Estimates to see apps that offer platforms for customer-approving estimates. From there, you’ll get a better comparison of these apps and see if one meets your needs.


To receive upfront payments for Estimates, let’s make sure that you enable QB Payments on your account:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Payments
  2. Select Connect QuickBooks Payments.
