How do I call and speak with a human person?

Sadly, there is no number to call. You can chat or request a callback.  Follow the steps below to get in touch with someone.  

You can also use the Search bar at the top of any page here in the community, to find answers to most questions. 

 

  1. Log in  to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.
      • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

How do I call and speak with a human person?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @ bruce1946. Let me help you with your query.

 

Checking client’s payroll status is what QuickBooks Online is good at. Here are the steps you can perform to check payroll and direct deposit status:

  1. Go to Gear icon and then under Settings select Payroll Settings.
  2. Select Company link under Bank Accounts section.
  3. Depending on the status, this is what will appear:
  • Connected/Active: Bank account details connected to send payroll with QuickBooks Online and option to update it.
  • Pending: "We're getting your bank account ready." Information about test transaction will also show.
  • Waiting for verification: You have the option to enter test transaction.
  • Failed: "Update your bank account. We couldn't verify this bank account."
