Hi JR333,

The purge data is only available in QuickBooks Online. You can condense your data in QuickBooks Desktop. Let me help you with the steps on how to remove your previous transaction in QuickBooks Desktop.

  1. Click File, then click Utilities.
  2. Click Condense Data.
  3. In the first window of the wizard, click Transactions before a specific date then enter the appropriate date.
  4. Put a check mark in the checkbox labeled: Optional: Create a report showing which transactions cannot be removed.
  5. Click Next, then choose Summarize inventory transactions (recommended).
  6. Choose how your inventory will be Condensed, then select Next.
  7. Click the Remove the transactions you select from your company file. Choose the transaction groups you wish to be remove. radio-button, then click Next.
  8. Click Begin Condense. QuickBooks does not start Condensing but only runs the report.

Once done, you'll no longer see the transactions in your reports.

Please refer to this article for more information: Use the Condense Data utility.

Let me know if there's anything else you need. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
