You can merge the customer whose banking information you want to delete with a new customer account that has no banking details in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Automn-Hunt.
Deleting bank or credit card information for customers is not currently an option in QBO; we can only modify it by merging the information with another customer.
Let me show you how:
- Go to Customers & leads, then select Customers.
- Enter the same information as the original customer account except the Payment info.
- Add 1 to the name in the Display name as field. Click Save.

- Rename and merge the original customer account with the new one. Then, hit Save.
- On the confirmation window, select Yes to merge the accounts. It'll delete the original customer account with the credit card info appearing in the deleted customers list.

- Rename the merged customer back to the original one.
