Glad to see you here in the Community, @ksakelarakis. I know how to email your contractor's 1099 Form, and I can walk you through the process.
You can invite your contractor to complete their W9 information on their own and view their 1099 Form at the same time. Here's how to send the invitation:
- Open the Payroll menu.
- Click on Contractors and choose Contractors.
- Hit Add a contractor.
- Fill in the contractor’s name and email in the box provided, then click on Add contractor.
We'll instantly email your contractor. Both the Contractors tab and the Vendors tab will show the contractor's profile.
They just have to click on the link provided in the email and log in to a QuickBooks Self-Employed account to complete the form and send it back directly. If they have an existing QBSE account, they can use it. Otherwise, they'll have to sign up for a new one.
Once they're logged in, they can already view their 1099 by navigating the Clients menu and then going to the Forms section.
Let me add this complete module for more details about the procedures: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I'll also attach these extra guides for more details about handling 1099.
It's always our pleasure to be of help. Comment back if you need anything else regarding 1099, contractors, or QuickBooks as a whole.
