We can go to your expense transactions, filter to show only checks, and void any that need to be voided, Jan.
Here’s how:
- In My Apps, drill down to Expenses & Bills and select Expense Transactions.
- Choose Check as the transaction type and apply any filters relevant to your goal.
- Locate the checks you want to void, click the dropdown under the Action column, and select Void.
After that, you can review each of them and print them for your bank’s verification.
Additionally, we can create a voided check report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for an overview. Here’s how:
- Click Reports from the sidebar menu and locate the Transaction List by Date report.
- Set the desired report period.
- Filter your data by selecting Memo/Description in the Filter by dropdown, choosing Equals in the Options field, and entering Voided in the Value field.
- Click + Add another filter and set the following: select Transaction Type in the Filter by field, choose Equals for the Options, and select Check in the Value field.
You can then email, export, or print the report to share with your bank.
We’ll keep this thread open for any questions or concerns you have about QuickBooks. We’re just a click away and happy to help!
